Halcyon Eclipse Buoyancy Compensators
Halcyon’s reputation is built on its dedication to innovation and quality. Divers from around the world turn to us for their gear because of a simple formula that we’ve always followed:
Dive, design, prototype, dive, refine, dive, build, dive.
Repeat as necessary.
Our latest creation? The Halcyon Eclipse wing.
Think of it as Halcyon’s original Pioneer single tanke wing gone to the gym.
Halcyon builds the Eclipse’s outer shell from 1680-denier ballistic nylon. Then add an inner bladder constructed from the same puncture-resistant 400-denier Nylon inner-bladder material used in the Explorer.
In other words, the Eclipse is a low profile, exploration-grade wing that leaves all other single tank designs in its shadow. Streamlined. Ruggedized.
Another example of Halcyon taking the game to the next level.
The Eclipse wings have a long, narrow, wing profile to support the diver’s tank along his or her entire length, preventing unnecessary drag and minimizing effort.
A circular zipper around the inside of the wing allows for easy inspection and replacement of the interior bladder.
A choice of lift capacities helps to maximize comfort and streamlining while accounting for various buoyancy requirements that result from differences in tank size, exposure protection, or equipment requirements.Eclipse wings require a single tank adapter to mount with your Secure Harness backplate system. Eclipse wings are available in 30 and 40 lbs lift capacities. All Eclipse wings are CE-certified for sale in the European Community.
All Halcyon Eclipse, Explorer, and Evolve MC Systems, as well as individual wings, come outfitted with a non-serviceable OEM power inflator.

Halcyon Secure Harness System
The Halcyon Secure Harness® allows for infinite adjustability, providing a perfect fit for all divers and diving systems. Men or women diving wet or dry will find the Secure Harness is without question the most stable and well-fitted design in the industry.
- Five point system insures snug fit and eliminates tank roll and drift
- MC Storage Pak® provides “transparent” storage for alternate lift and signaling devices
- Bent D-rings facilitate one-handed storage of accessories like Scout lights or stage bottles
- Complete adjustability of D-rings eliminates inappropriate attachment points
Backplate
- Backplate is available in six lbs. stainless steel and aluminum
- Utility holes allow mating with MC Storage Pak to stow a variety of lift devices
Military-grade hardcoat protects the Halcyon aluminum backplate from corrosion and scratching

Halcyon Single Tank Adaptors
- Stainless steel adaptor allows divers to secure single tank wings, such as the Halcyon Eclipse, to a standard backplate and harness.
- New Weighted STA provides six pounds of non-ditchable ballast.

Poseidon Xtream
The XSTREAM first stage uses a diaphragm actuated balanced upstream valve with a plug that is a free floating ball bearing that is not restricted by balance chamber o-ring seals of conventional plugs and can easily self-align and seal on a hard plastic seat even in extreme cold. When cylinder pressure changes, the valve seat orifice moves changing spring forces to keep balance with air pressure forces.
The XSTREAM second stage uses a diaphragm pilot actuated upstream valve. On inhalation, the diaphragm moves inwards and actuates a small pilot valve allowing air pressure to drop inside an elastomeric cone which causes the cone to collapse and allow the flow of air through many small openings in the metal housing enclosing the cone.On exhalation, the diaphragm moves back out and the pilot valve closes so pressure builds up inside the elastomeric cone forcing it against the openings in the housing enclosing the cone so that the flow of air stops.
The valve design provides much less restriction allowing much more flow than conventional second stages. The space inside the second stage is very small which reduces the level of residual carbon dioxide. The exhaust is at the side which allows the second stage to be used from either the left or right side of the diver.
